A short, paved, out-and-back jaunt to Pohick Bay Regional Park, with a couple of scenic detours along the way. The park has all sorts of things to do—minigolf, paddle boat rentals, etc. You’ll also pass the Meadowood mountain bike trails if you need to get some dirt under your tires.

There’s a bike lane and a sidepath on Telegraph Road. Neither are great, but you can mostly avoid riding with traffic on the busy roads.
